The Mission: Scaling the Future of Healthcare

Healthcare is plagued by fragmented infrastructure and antiquated workflows. At Foundation Health, we aren't just building another app; we are building an AI-powered digital pharmacy platform that serves as deep, integrated infrastructure for health systems.

To achieve this, we need more than just great code - we need world-class engineering leadership. We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join our Orlando hub and work shoulder-to-shoulder with our VP of Engineering (ex-DeepMind/Google) to build a high-velocity, AI-native engineering organization.

The Role: Your Mandate

You won't just be "managing" a team; you will be the engine that drives delivery for two distinct software engineering teams. Your focus is split between the growth of our people and the velocity of our platform.

As an Engineering Manager, you will:

  • Architect Teams, Not Just Code: Take ownership of personnel management and the delivery lifecycle for 2 SWE teams.

  • Clear the Path: Act as the primary shield and facilitator for your teams, ensuring they have the tasks, resources, and clarity needed to ship without friction or blockages.

  • Strategic Leadership: Sit on the technical leadership team to influence the product roadmap and technical direction of the company.

  • Operationalize AI: Lead the charge on our "AI-native" culture. You aren't just allowing AI tools; you are actively finding ways to integrate Claude, CoPilot, and other LLMs into the team's daily workflow to maximize output.

The AI-Native Advantage

We don’t just build AI; we live it. While other companies are still debating AI usage policies, we expect our Engineering Managers to champion them. You will be tasked with automating the mundane parts of the engineering lifecycle so your teams can focus on solving the complex, high-impact problems that actually move the needle for patients.

Location & Community

This role is based in our Orlando hub. You will work closely with our VP of Engineering, who is also based in Orlando. While we value the flexibility of a distributed team, we believe the biggest breakthroughs happen when leaders get together to whiteboard and "jam" in person.
