About Foundation Health

Foundation Health is transforming healthcare through an AI-powered digital pharmacy platform that seamlessly connects operational infrastructure with high quality patient experiences. Our mission is to transform patient centric care by connecting fragmented infrastructure, optimizing care coordination, and removing friction from the patient journey. We refuse to adhere to the status quo; instead, we actively pioneer solutions that will shape the healthcare practices of tomorrow.

This ambitious vision is only achievable with the dedication of the right team propelling us forward. We firmly believe that a supportive and inspiring work environment fuels creativity, transforming it into groundbreaking innovation. It is this very innovation that not only benefits our organization but also positively impacts our people, partners, and most importantly, our patients.

At Foundation Health, we foster a culture that encourages our team members to broaden their horizons, urging them to bring their passion and curiosity to the workplace each day. We understand that diverse perspectives fuel progress, and we actively seek individuals who share our commitment to excellence and forward-thinking.

Fixing Healthcare, One System at a Time

Healthcare runs on workflows built in the 90s. We're changing that — specifically in pharmacy, where we're building AI-powered infrastructure that plugs directly into EHR platforms, helping health systems actually function at scale. Not a chatbot. Not a wrapper. Real, deep infrastructure that changes how care gets delivered.

We're a Series A company already in production with enterprise customers already - so, the PMF question is answered. Now we're building the team that scales it.

The Role

This is a mid-level role for someone who's past the hand-holding stage but still has plenty of runway to grow. You'll own features end-to-end, work on a modern stack (Node/TypeScript/GCP), and be surrounded by senior engineers worth learning from.

You don't need to have worked in our exact stack. If you're a strong engineer who loves building things and picks up new tools quickly, that matters more to us than ticking a language checkbox.

We're AI-native — Cursor, Claude — and we expect you to use these tools as a natural part of how you work, not as a novelty.

What we're looking for

  • A couple of years of professional experience building and shipping software in a production environment

  • Solid fundamentals — you understand what you're building and why it works

  • Someone who asks good questions, takes feedback well, and gets things done without needing constant direction

  • Already experimenting with AI tools in your workflow

  • Strong educational background in CS or similar

Why now, why us

You'd be joining as one of the founding engineers in a new hub. That means real influence — on the product, the architecture, and the culture we build here. Meaningful equity, a seat at the table, and work that actually touches people's lives through the healthcare system.
