Role
You will be part of a global team responsible for analyzing credit agreements and transforming complex legal and financial documentation into structured insights within a growing global credit database. The platform supports some of the world’s largest investment banks, hedge funds, private equity firms, and financial and legal advisors in making informed credit market decisions.
This position is based in our Bogotá office.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze credit agreements, identifying and interpreting key commercial and legal terms.
- Assess and validate analyses prepared by colleagues in the US and London, ensuring consistency and high analytical standards.
- Verify the accuracy and reliability of data extracted using AI tools, applying expert judgment where needed.
- Input and maintain high-quality, structured data in the database, contributing to a trusted market intelligence product.
- Collaborate with international teams to continuously improve data quality and analytical processes.
Requirements
- Professional proficiency in English, including the ability to read and analyze complex legal and financial documentation in English.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to efficiently review, interpret, and summarize contractual terms.
- A logical, practical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or current Law student.
Prior experience with credit agreements is not required. Full training will be provided.
The actual compensation will be at Octus’ sole discretion and will be determined by the aforementioned and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for an additional annual discretionary bonus.
