We’re seeking a Senior Manager, Payer Partnerships to lead the development and execution of partnership-driven initiatives that accelerate Maven’s payer go-to-market (GTM) motion. In this senior individual contributor role, you’ll shape how we engage, activate, and grow relationships across the payer ecosystem—informing GTM strategy, strengthening market positioning, and driving partner-sourced and partner-influenced growth.

You’ll join a small, high-impact team within Marketing focused on market research, payer insights, GTM strategy, and ecosystem collaboration. This role is ideal for someone who can operate autonomously, bring clarity to ambiguity, and build high-leverage programs that improve the effectiveness and scalability of our payer GTM channels.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the strategy and execution of payer-focused marketing initiatives that support Maven’s commercial goals—improving reach, credibility, differentiation, and pipeline performance within payer channels.
  • Build a nuanced understanding of payer partners’ business models, clinical priorities, procurement processes, incentives, and existing vendor ecosystems to inform joint GTM strategies.
  • Develop and operationalize programs that accelerate activation and performance of payer partnerships, including messaging alignment, co-marketing, enablement, market insights, and account-level collaboration.
  • Partner with Growth Marketing and Product Marketing to design payer-specific co-marketing campaigns, events, research collaborations, and content initiatives that elevate Maven’s relevance and differentiation in the payer market.
  • Identify and clearly articulate the parts of our current and upcoming product roadmap that matter most to payers—mapping those priorities to each payer’s unique business strategy, and pulling out the shared themes that resonate across the broader payer landscape.
  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of strategic payer partnerships:
    • Lead onboarding, enablement, and early activation
    • Partner with the payer growth team to deliver high-impact touchpoints such as QBRs and performance reviews
    • Serve as a senior cross-functional connector—surfacing payer needs, identifying ecosystem opportunities, and influencing product, GTM, and partner strategies based on payer insights and partner feedback.
    • Work with Sales and Customer Success leadership to strengthen payer deal execution, including refining value propositions, developing partner-aligned positioning, and creating joint motions that support adoption and retention.
    • Build scalable infrastructure for payer partnerships by improving reporting, automating repeatable processes, developing playbooks, and creating systems that support sustained growth of the payer channel.
  • Act as a senior thought partner to leadership, providing synthesis on payer market trends, emerging partnership opportunities, and strategic ecosystem shifts that should inform Maven’s product and GTM roadmaps.

Who You Are

  • A senior partnerships or GTM leader with deep experience working with health plans, PBMs, TPAs, or related payer ecosystem entities.
  • Highly skilled at translating payer landscape insights, partner incentives, and competitive dynamics into actionable GTM strategies and enhanced perception of the platform.
  • Adept at operating cross-functionally across Product Marketing, Growth, Sales, Partnerships, Product, and Customer Success—aligning stakeholders around shared payer outcomes.
  • Experienced in building and operationalizing partner-led motions that drive pipeline, accelerate deal cycles, and improve differentiation in payer sales cycles.
  • Strong communicator capable of influencing senior stakeholders and presenting compelling narratives to both internal teams and external payer leaders.
  • Analytical and insights-driven, comfortable defining KPIs, evaluating performance, and developing scalable frameworks grounded in payer data.
  • 7–10+ years in partnerships, GTM strategy, product marketing, or related roles, with meaningful exposure to payer markets.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a test-and-learn mindset and a bias toward structure, clarity, and execution.

The base salary range for this role is $160,000 - $190,000 per year. You will also be entitled to receive stock options and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.

This role requires active work authorization in the US.
