- Own technical and clinical relationships with payer stakeholders, serving as their primary point of contact for study design, data sharing, results interpretation and ongoing analytic support.
- Work with partners to marry self-reported and Maven platform data with medical claims to create rich reporting and manage the operational scaling of these reports to thousands of downstream employer clients.
We’re looking for you to bring:
- A master’s degree with 2‑3+ years of healthcare‑industry experience, bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience, or 2-3+ years of management consulting in healthcare.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically with business objectives in mind and partner closely and effectively with Maven’s Growth teams.
- Exceptionally strong communication and analytic translation skills along with “client hands” to effectively manage complex client relationships.
- Expertise manipulating healthcare claims (medical & Rx) and familiarity with industry financial models (e.g., PMPM, risk adjustment, HEDIS/Stars).
- Comfort with rapid, accurate data exploration, preferably in SQL / Looker.
- Proven project‑management capabilities that balance long‑range studies with fast‑turn ad‑hoc asks in a high‑growth, startup environment.
- Bonus: firsthand experience working for a health insurance payer or consulting to payer clients on clinical‑outcome analytics or value-based care.
Helpful experiences and skills (if you don’t have them, you can learn them with us!):
- Solid SQL or Python for large‑scale data analysis.
- Data‑visualization tools (Looker a plus).
- Financial modeling and/or applied statistics.
- Experience with medical claims data.
- Familiarity with value‑based‑care payment models (bundles, shared savings).
- Experience creating clear, compelling slide narratives in a client‑facing environment.
