About the Role
As our first Community Liaison in Arizona, you'll own the Maricopa County market - building the relationships that drive Meadow’s growth across Phoenix and the surrounding communities.
Your job is to become a trusted presence across hospices and care providers throughout Maricopa County — building real, lasting relationships with the teams who guide families through loss. These are the people families turn to in their most difficult moments, and the relationships you build directly shape which funeral home those families choose.
If you've built a book of business in healthcare, senior living, real estate, insurance, hospitality, or another relationship-driven field, you already have the most important skills for this role. You know how to show up consistently, follow through, and earn trust over time. We'll teach you the rest.
The work is relationship-driven, not transactional. No cold calling, no hard selling - just long-game trust building, with a base salary, uncapped commission, and the satisfaction of knowing your work genuinely matters.
It's also hands-on. Roughly 20% of your time is spent running ground operations that help us grow the business and improve the family experience.
This is a field-based role — you’ll be out across Phoenix, Scottsdale, Mesa, Chandler, and surrounding areas most days, so reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required.
What You’ll Do
- Own your territory. Build, manage, and grow relationships with hospices across the Phoenix metro area.
- Become a familiar face at hospices - running short trainings, dropping by regularly, and being someone they can count on.
- Stay in touch with existing partners, close the loop on referrals, and keep relationships strong over time.
- Support referred families with warmth and clarity during one of the hardest weeks of their lives.
- Keep your pipeline organized in HubSpot (don't worry, we'll train you) and use what you learn to get better every month.
Who You Are
- 3–5 years in a relationship-driven role - senior living, hospice, healthcare, real estate, insurance, hospitality, or anywhere your success came from people trusting you.
- Based in Maricopa County
- You build relationships that last. You stay in touch, follow through, and people remember you for the right reasons.
- A confident communicator. You're comfortable in front of a group, in a 1:1 with a decision-maker, or in a quiet conversation with a family.
- Self-driven. You don't need a manager looking over your shoulder. You manage your own calendar, prioritize your day, and get results.
- Calm and adaptable. You bring care to difficult moments and figure things out when plans change.

- You already have relationships within the local care community (hospice, senior living, healthcare, or adjacent fields).
Details
- Location: Maricopa County, AZ (Phoenix metro area) | Core hours 9–5 pm MT
- Compensation: $60,000-$70,000 base salary | $80,000-$100,000 OTE, uncapped bonus | equity
- Health: medical, dental, vision; FSA/HSA; One Medical, Kindbody, Talkspace, Teladoc.
- Time off: Unlimited PTO; 10 paid holidays.
- Gear and stipend: MacBook + tools; $300 WFH stipend.
