Join a fast-growing startup and become the kind of seller people trust with big decisions.

You've already worked: a job beside school, a restaurant, a front desk, a call center, a first real role. None of it has turned into a career you want to stay in.

This is your way into startups and sales. Meadow went from one city to four states in a few years, has the team and funding to keep growing, and is building the sales team that takes us further. We hire on potential, not resumes. And it's fully remote, so you don't need to move to a big city to start a real sales career.

We'll teach you consultative selling: understanding what someone actually needs before you say a word about what we offer. It's the hardest kind of selling to learn and the most valuable kind to know. And we'll be clear, every week, about how you're doing.

The job

Families come to us either to plan ahead or because they need help right now. Either way, they've reached out to us. You engage, listen, explain their options, and help them make a confident decision. No cold calling, no lists.

This is sales, just not the bad kind you're picturing. You'll become the seller who can ask the question behind the question, explain the trade-offs plainly, and make a big decision feel small. That is consultative selling. It can be taught, and it pays for the rest of your career.

Day to day, you'll:

  • Drive 15-25 high quality calls with families, inbound and follow ups
  • Ask good questions, actually listen, explain trade-offs plainly, so a family can decide without being pushed
  • Follow up by phone, text, and email, and track your numbers
  • Get coached constantly: call reviews, live feedback, weekly 1:1s

How you'll grow

  • Month one: structured, paid training. We'll tell you exactly what good looks like, what we measure, and where you stand.
  • Year one: the fundamentals, dialed in. Rapport in the first thirty seconds, natural discovery without jargon, following up, closing without pressure.
  • Year two: range and mastery. Harder conversations, objections, volume, and coaching those who join behind you.

Top performers grow into senior sales and leadership roles, and we're growing fast enough that those open as we expand.

Who this is for

You don't need sales experience. We can teach the job. We can't teach this:

  • Drive. You want to win, you want to earn more when you do, and a missed goal bothers you more than it should
  • On top of it. You're a little obsessive about your pipeline. Every follow-up happens, and nobody has to check
  • Hospitality. You're warm, clear, and steady on the phone, even when the other person isn't
  • Coachable. You want feedback, act on it, and figure things out

Extra points if you speak Spanish or have worked somewhere trust really mattered: healthcare, insurance, financial services.

About Meadow

End-of-life care is a $20B industry that touches every family and still feels stuck in the past. In under two years we've become the largest independent player in California, expanded to four states, earned hundreds of 5-star reviews and an 80+ NPS, and raised enough money to go, go, go.

If you're thinking "I could do this, but I don't check every box," apply anyway. We hire on potential, and potential doesn't show up on a resume, so we built a process that can.
