Role Summary

In this role you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of SAP/ERP and related business processes across Rivian with a specific focus on Bill of Material and change management practices. You will leverage project management acumen to ensure that all enterprise systems teams are aligned and providing correct integration between our various systems.


Responsibilities

  • Work with enterprise systems teams to define ERP architecture and strategy for part definition, mBOM, work instructions, change objects and work orders
  • Refine and improve integration between enterprise systems: ERP, PLM, and MES
  • Define business process for setting up core ERP functions: material masters, baselining mBOMs, coordinating changes, managing deviations, color parts, multi-sourcing, alternates etc.
  • Develop roadmap for major initiatives: automating PLM BOM/BOP changes into ERP, eliminating material variants, phasing out of iPPE
  • Provide requirements for IT developers to implement enhancements in SAP
  • Review and test SAP system updates
  • Communicate business process guidelines and roll out training for enhanced functionality

Qualifications

  • 7+ Years of Applicable experience
  • Operations or manufacturing background
  • Ability to judge needs of organization over needs of individual teams
  • Strong leadership capability
  • Ability to think through issues logically, using first principles approach to problem solving
  • Ability to adjust and evaluate priorities as urgent issues arise
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of enterprise databases PLM, ERP, and MES
  • Understanding of configuration management

Pay Disclosure

Salary Range California-Based Applicants: $189,000 -$217,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, and other factors permitted by law).
