Role Summary
In this position, you will be playing a crucial role of leading a talented team of ServiceNow developers and QA specialists to support building and implementing ServiceNow solutions to improve enterprise capabilities in Rivian’s Service Management space. This position will be part of a growing IT team working on multiple information systems in a high demand setting. This role reports directly to the Sr Manager ServiceNow.
Responsibilities

- This is a manager-level role responsible for assisting with expanding the ServiceNow footprint within Rivian by successfully delivering outcomes, facilitating roadmaps, and engaging in higher level business conversations. \n
- The ServiceNow Manager serves as the point of escalation for all project-related issues. \n
- Manages a team of developers and QA specialists. \n
- Ensures all team members have a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities. \n
- Serves as point of review and approval of team deliverables in overall larger team setting. \n
- Mentorship of team members assigned to your team. \n
- Manage ServiceNow initiatives and day to day operational incidents with support from developers. \n
- Accountable for delivery of projects/initiatives in accordance with Project Management best practices and is responsible for delivery of the project in terms of schedule, scope, resources, and budget. \n
- Collaborate with department leaders and users to translate business requirements into actionable tasks that support the ServiceNow initiatives. \n
- Develop standard reports and presentations to effectively communicate status, issues, risks, and achievements to key stakeholders. \n
- Proactively identify and address risks, and work with engineering team to implement risk-mitigating actions. \n
- ·Set agendas for key decision-making meetings to eliminate bottlenecks and address risks promptly. \n
- Assist the team in creation of documentation materials (i.e., process flow diagrams, agile story test cases, etc.) \n
- This manager will work closely with US Business stakehdolders and require some overlap with US hours \n
Qualifications
- \n
- Minimum 10 years of overall technology implementation or delivery experience \n
- Bachelor’s degree or higher required in computer science, Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related discipline or equivalent combination of experience and education \n
- Background in implementing medium to large scale ServiceNow solutions. \n
- Strong ServiceNow technical breadth and depth spanning various modules including ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB & Strategic Portfolio Management \n
- Strong analytical and facilitation skills \n
- Strong organizational skills \n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills \n
- Ability to create and present executive level presentations. \n
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills \n
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products; including Microsoft Project and Microsoft Visio \n
- Knowledge or familiarity with cloud-based technology management solutions (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Workday, Oracle Cloud, etc.) \n
- Knowledge of Agile Development framework and effective SCRUM technique \n
