Role Summary

In this role you will be responsible for a team of data scientists and engineers who unlock critical insights for your world class engineering organization. You and your team will develop and deploy analytics tools and reports for the product development organization. You will be expected to collaborate across the organization to define a roadmap of opportunities, scope and define projects which support that roadmap and manage the team to deliver on those objectives. You will also be expected to architect solutions that are scalable, efficient and highly effective. This role requires a high level of motivation, an understanding of product development and an ability to deliver measurable improvements to the organization.


  • Develop and deploy performance dashboards and reports that provide insights into key program metrics like status, quality, risk, cost, and efficiency
  • Interface with wider departmental teams to identify opportunities and manage a roadmap of projects which measurably improves those areas.
  • Manage analytics team projects and roadmap, including project definition, solutioning & development
  • Partner with the Vehicle Line, Engineering and Launch teams to maximize effectiveness of all processes and tools required to deliver amazing vehicles on time
  • Collaborate with enterprise IT and the broader analytics community to advocate for and implement scalable data infrastructure and best practices.
  • Provide strategic direction, mentorship and coaching to the team to increase the impact on the organization and support each individuals development.
  • Be a force for change in the organization; encourage and empower stakeholders to make data-driven decisions


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an Engineering Discipline, Computer Science, or equivalent STEM Subject
  • 4+ years experience deploying analytics within a product development organization
  • Deep understanding data visualization toolsets such as tableau, PowerBI
  • Strong understanding of Atlassian products such as Jira & confluence
  • Proficiency in VBA, python scripting & other applications.
  • Strong resilience and work ethic
  • Open minded, adventurous and curious mindset
  • Experience in upskilling and managing a team

Pay Disclosure

$154,000-$192,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, and other factors permitted by law).
