Role Summary

Rivian is seeking an Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) solution expert to join our Supply Chain Systems, Enterprise Technology team. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping Rivian's logistics processes by designing and building systemic solutions tailored to our unique needs. You will collaborate closely with various business teams, internal and external stakeholders to deliver solutions that drive our business objectives. This role reports the the Sr. Product Manager of Supply Chain.


Responsibilities

  • Configuring OTM to meet the business requirements. Continuous improvement in planning to accommodate ever-changing business needs.
  • Experienced in shipment planning including multi-leg, load planning, cross-dock, multi-stop etc. and itinerary setup.
  • Experienced in Planning Optimizations techniques and system performance improvements.
  • Experienced in rate upload processes.
  • Understand and worked in payment cycle including respective configurations.
  • Understands and is experienced in GTM processes like customs filing, AES filing and screening processes.
  • Hands on experience in Designing User Menus, Screens, User Roles, and VPD profiles.
  • Understand the master data and expertise in setting up master data including rates for multiple shipping methods such as road, ocean, air, rail etc.
  • Developing agents, customizations of the standard workflows, notification stylesheet modifications.
  • Report developments, designing templates, writing SQL queries, and scheduling the reports.
  • Invoicing processes like Auto match, Tolerance Rule setup, Auto Approve, Credit note, debit note, etc.
  • Setting tendering processes like Normal Tender, SPOT tendering, Step Tendering etc.
  • Standard EDI mapping event setups like 204, 315, 214 etc.
  • OTM Cloud Quarterly Upgrade Activities like testing the existing system workflows, shipment planning, Integrations and newly released features.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in configuring, developing, and integrating OTM with diverse systems, including EDI.
  • Deep understanding of logistics processes to effectively translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Ownership mindset and a strong sense of responsibility for the product's success.
  • Ability to think outside the box and develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 10 + years of working with OTM (implementation, support, management, creating workflows)
  • OTM support, implementation, and management
  • 5 years with OTM and 5 years with other TMS (transportation management system)
  • Module where they are developing reports - this has to be done in SQL
  • Creating workflows within OTM, logics built in SQL
  • Writing SQL queries, creating web flows, - purely technical role
  • Proficient with SQL (developing reports in OTM and creating workflows in OTM)
  • Be able to come in and support day 1
  • Communication is very importantwill be communicating with suppliers, internal customers and stakeholders.
  • Proficient SAP and EDI (Electronic Data Interchange)
