Role Summary

Rivian Commercial Operations is seeking a Staff Program Manager, Commercial Operations Programs to support the execution of high impact and business critical programs across corporate and field applications.

As the Staff Program Manager, Commercial Operations Programs you will activate cross-functional extended teams to implement new and changing initiatives related to the fulfillment of all Rivian vehicles. You are a detail-oriented, root-cause problem solver with a creative mindset. To be successful in role, you’ll be agile, collaborative, and are comfortable with ambiguity. You will drive accountability and results. You are a master at storytelling, kindling new relationships and strengthening existing partnerships. You face complex problems with enthusiasm and a collaborative ethos. You will leverage a customer-centric mindset to spur operations forward and align to organizational KPIs.


Responsibilities

  • Be a key member of the Commercial Operations Programs leadership team to streamline decision-making, drive performance and recommend solutions
  • Uncover new opportunities for inter-team collaboration
  • Support the creation of inter-team communication to consolidate and communicate key business priorities
  • Jumpstart strategic organizational initiatives
  • Create storytelling materials for wide array of audiences, including executive teams and board of directors
  • Manage various stakeholders and influence behaviors related to the use of information by communicating success, concerns, risks, and status updates on related work
  • Craft all-encompassing roadmaps for near-term and long-term execution
  • Extend the bandwidth of the Commercial Operations leadership through support of day-to-day activities
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure compliance in processes across all areas of the customer-facing business
  • Use analysis of current programming to design, pitch, and implement special projects aimed to drive continuous improvement across the organization
  • Anticipate organizational needs and pursue proactive solutions
  • Lead weekly staff and stakeholder meetings
  • Evaluate new strategic initiatives for prioritization

Qualifications

  • Ability to work in an ambiguous, fast-paced and iterative environment
  • Strength in collaboration: you live the mindset that when we come together, we are better
  • Excellent business acumen, deep functional expertise, and exemplary communication skills
  • Ability to quickly understand and map systems, processes, and operations
  • Experience in a dynamic and agile environment requiring high-adaptability, management of multiple projects, excellent cross-functional communication, and presentation skills
  • 7-10 years of experience in strategy, operations and/or program management
  • Passion for operations and process improvement principles
  • Advanced Microsoft + G suite experience required (Powerpoint, Excel)
  • Ability to travel up to 30%

Pay Disclosure

Salary Range for Washington, D.C., California, and Washington Based Applicants: $160,000 to $185,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).

Salary Range for Colorado Based Applicants: $150,000 to $175,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).

Salary Range for New York Based Applicants: $180,000 to 205,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).

Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
