Role Summary
The 3P Operations Specialist will be responsible for day-to-day management of Rivian-paid repairs across a national network of authorized third-party (3P) service providers. The 3P Operations Specialist will be responsible for ensuring Rivian-paid service campaigns are deployed and executed in a timely manner by working with a cross-functional team of internal and external partners. Responsibilities also include overseeing the claims reimbursement process, from data collection to ensuring compliance with Rivian standards and facilitating prompt payment. This role requires a meticulous approach to maintain the integrity of service delivery and customer satisfaction.
The opening will be located remotely and reports directly to the Manager, 3P Service Operations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate cross functionally to systematically manage field service actions to be performed by third-party service providers
- Work closely with internal stakeholders (Field Service, Service Programs, Strategy, Parts and Warranty Teams) and external stakeholders (Fleet Partners and Service Providers) to create a launch plan
- Liaison with third-party service providers as required for dealing with general inquiries and help provide solutions should there be identified issues
- Ensure input of vehicle warranty claim data is completed with accuracy and support enforcement of policies and processes by third-party service providers
- Support cost monitoring versus forecast and respective actions needed to be implemented on spend per PO and open amounts on a regular basis
- Ability to collect feedback from internal and external stakeholders and improve the claims submission and verification process, including automation, documentation, and training
- Work with Accounts Payable and Finance Teams to ensure clear communication, updates of projects and strategic initiatives
- Support program initiatives by identifying risks, and executing mitigation plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business with proven insights in automotive aftersales or service or 5+ years of experience in product strategy/product management or business development within the automotive industry
- Entrepreneurial thinking and ability to work with a varying level of ambiguity along with business, financial and project management acumen
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and external vendors
- Time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time and meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy
- Familiarity with Coupa, SAP and warranty management systems a plus
- Ability to work and remain motivated in a fast-paced environment
- Travel may be required (up to 20%)
Pay Disclosure
Salary Range/Hourly Rate for Colorado Based Applicants: $83,500- $104,400 annually (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Salary Range/Hourly Rate for New Jersey Based Applicants: $87,300- $109,100 annually (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Salary Range/Hourly Rate for Washington DC Based Applicants:$ 87,300- $109,100 annually (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Salary Range/Hourly Rate for Washington Based Applicants:$87,300- $109,100 annually (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Salary Range/Hourly Rate for California Based Applicants: $87,300- $109,100 annually (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
