Role Summary
The Senior Lead Program Manager of Sales Process Transformation will play a key role in enabling Rivian’s Commercial business success and growth. This role will work collaboratively with executives and cross-functional teams to design, develop, implement and continually improve the Commercial organization’s sales and fulfillment processes, development roadmap, enablement programming and measurement strategy. You will co-architect new and optimize existing processes to increase sales, revenue growth, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency and team productivity. You will adeptly navigate a dynamic, fast-paced, and scaling organization and obsess over creating clarity and continuously delivering results.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the Commercial organization’s sales and fulfillment process strategy, including vision, roadmap, programs and measurement
- Lead the development and implementation of the transformation strategy across core business processes (i.e. first impression to lead, lead to demo drive, demo drive to order, order to transaction, transaction to delivery, issue resolution, customer satisfaction, etc.)
- Connect business processes between functions to clarify business and technical capability needs and highlight holistic requirements and key interdependencies
- Identify process flow gaps and lead process redesign efforts across functions
- Design a self-reinforcing ecosystem that seamlessly integrates process, systems, tools,
training, measurement and reporting - Partner on definition of a sales methodology and creation of standards of excellence to
train and certify frontline teams on - Work closely with subject matter experts and leadership to develop and drive consistent
program messaging and content - Collaborate with Learning & Development team to create world class learning programs
that enable the sales and fulfillment process - Create structured approach to project design while operating with speed and flexibility
to deliver business impact on high priority projects - Plan, develop, and work with leadership and change networks to deliver communications
and creative engagement activities, driving understanding about key changes - Measure effectiveness of process changes and programs and evolve plans as needed to
best drive adoption and reduce risk of initiatives - Regularly report on activity status to program leadership, work with leadership to
escalate and resolve risks and issues - Remain current on emerging trends in the sales process, methodology, CRM, and
enablement space to bring cutting-edge approaches and industry best practices Be a “Multiplier” by cultivating relationships, building trust and credibility, delivering direct and timely feedback and effectively collaborating with cross-functional partners - Serve as a strategic thought partner to key stakeholders across Commercial, Sales, Fulfillment, Service, Digital, Learning & Talent Development, HRBP’s and People Partners, Talent Acquisition, etc.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, strategy, or quantitative field (advanced degree a plus)
- 8+ years’ experience designing and implementing standard sales processes and methodologies across large, global companies
- 2+ years of consulting experience
- Self-starter with an ability to navigate successfully through ambiguity, create structure,
articulate the big picture, and work with limited supervision - Strong executive presence and proven ability to work with and influence senior leaders
- Proven ability to successfully operate in a highly matrixed organizational system where
partnership and influence are key drivers of success - Ability to see and understand critical interdependencies and bring together parties with
competing priorities and facilitate effective collaboration - Understanding of change management strategies to guide large organizations through
complex change - Superior project management skills, clarifying and managing scope, structuring work,
developing work plans, and engaging cross-functional partners effectively - Ability to learn quickly and successfully organize and drive effective projects even as you
are getting up to speed - Strong knowledge of models, theories, and best practices in the field of adult learning, learning design, and organizational consulting
- Highly preferred that you’ve been a salesperson and or sales leader – balancing the need to drive corporate initiatives with empathy and change management sensitivity
- Excellent proficiency in CRM systems and tools such as Salesforce
- Superior facilitation, written, and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in virtually connected, fast-paced, and ambiguous environments
- Maintains a positive, upbeat and professional attitude
Pay Disclosure
Salary Range for California Based Applicants: $143,000 - $179,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Salary Range for Colorado Based Applicants: $137,000 - $170,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
