Role Summary
As a Rivian Senior Program Manager of Service Quality you will be responsible for improving the quality of Rivian products and support the execution of Field Service Actions to ensure quality and safety of Rivian vehicles. You will be engaging with Quality, Reliability, Field Service, Manufacturing and Service Engineering to escalate and address critical and trending product issues with vehicles in the field. Working alongside a vast group of individuals, to solve complex problems while making sure Rivian’s high standard of quality requirements are met.
Responsibilities
- Utilize field warranty data to identify and escalate emerging product related issues.
- Responsible for the triaging and escalation of Field Product Reports.
- Support Engineering Investigations relating to product issues.
- Lead reviews and collaborate with other teams regarding product issue management and full end to end countermeasure/containment activities.
- Determine, track, and deliver key serviceability metrics through multiple product launches and continuous improvement through the vehicle lifecycle.
- Drive improvements into manufacturing to improve build quality.
- Drive improvements to overall processes for the Service Quality team.
- Work alongside data analyst to create data dashboards that support the team’s needs.
- Support Lemon Law vehicle repurchase escalations and investigations.
- Support the execution of Field Actions within a timely manner by collaborating with Service, Quality, Reliability, Parts, Engineering and Legal.
Qualifications
- BS in Engineering, Automotive Technology or similar technical degree required
- Ability to manage multiple projects across varying geographic locations simultaneously.
- Willingness to work in a strong cross functional environment.
- Proven technical knowledge and ability to collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Reliability and Supplier Quality.
- Knowledge of legislative bills that have a direct effect on After-Sales/Service, such as Right to Repair.
- Experience working in a manufacturing / production environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to explain complex problems to a vast audience.
- Possesses passion to provide exceptional customer service and ownership experience
Pay Disclosure
Salary Range/Hourly Rate: for Illinois Based Applicants: $79,700 - $99,600 per year (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time and part-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Full Time Employee coverage is effective on the first day of employment. Part-Time employee coverage is effective the first of the month following 90 days of employment
