Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to join our Enterprise Cybersecurity team in Serbia. This leadership role is integral to ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, availability, and safety of our information and operational technology systems by overseeing cybersecurity engineers across multiple critical disciplines. The ideal candidate will challenge traditional cybersecurity strategies and be responsible for leading and mentoring a talented team.


Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of cybersecurity engineers across various disciplines.
  • Establish and enforce best practices for cybersecurity engineering, including secure development lifecycle, security testing, and operational security controls.
  • Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, technologies, and vulnerabilities, integrating this knowledge into the organization's cybersecurity program and engineering protocols.
  • Work closely with cross-functional partners to define project scope, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality, secure solutions.
  • Report regularly on the status of the team and recommend improvements as necessary.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and risks, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Recruit, onboard, and retain top cybersecurity talent.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with other engineering teams and departments across Rivian.
  • Drive continuous improvement in cybersecurity engineering processes, tools, and methodologies.

Pay Disclosure

  • Proficiency in implementing and managing Identity, Governance, and Access (IGA), Identity Data Platform (IDP), and Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.
  • Proven track record of implementing and maturing DevSecOps practices.
  • Leadership experience in securing complex cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), with a deep understanding of Cybersecurity principles, cloud security services, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to set technical vision and drive architectural strategy for critical security domains, coupled with strong problem-solving skills for intricate technical challenges.
  • Passion for Cybersecurity and a desire to stay current with industry best practices and tools.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams.
  • Experience working across multiple teams to build cross-functional relationships and working with numerous members with various levels of technical expertise.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience, with a passion for developing and mentoring engineers.
  • Strong technical background with a practical understanding of various cybersecurity domains, common attacks, and how they work.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience documenting, socializing, and operationalizing technology and processes.
  • Experience working in a global or international environment is highly desirable.
