Role Summary
Rivian is seeking a visionary sales enablement leader to architect the systems that power our growth, moving at startup speed while building for enterprise scale. You will serve as the strategic catalyst between our sales organization and cross-functional teams, translating market opportunities into actionable sales performance. You will build and fortify the infrastructure that empowers our frontline teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive near-term demand.
In this highly collaborative role, you will develop and implement sales enablement strategies that operationalize our sales levers through events, demo drives, and daily customer interactions. You'll operate at the intersection of strategy and execution, removing roadblocks, optimizing processes, and ensuring our sales teams have the tools, training, and support needed to exceed their goals in a rapidly evolving landscape.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive programs that enable frontline teams to maximize performance to KPIs
- Develop and execute strategic sales events and demo drive programs that create memorable customer experiences while generating short-term demand
- Proactively identify and solve challenges that impact sales team performance and customer experience
- Create and continuously refine playbooks, processes, and methodologies that drive consistent performance across all customer touchpoints
- Analyze sales performance data, customer behavior, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and develop targeted enablement solutions
- Serve as a key liaison between the Sales department and cross-functional stakeholders, streamlining communication workflows and securing alignment on critical initiatives
- Collaborate with senior leadership to translate strategic priorities into actionable sales enablement plans that organizational objectives
- Extend the bandwidth of Sales leadership by managing day-to-day tactical execution while maintaining strategic oversight
- Lead weekly stakeholder meetings and facilitate cross-team communication to consolidate and communicate key business priorities
- Anticipate organizational needs and pursue proactive solutions that support rapidly scaling operations
- Create compelling storytelling materials and presentations for various audiences, including executive teams and sales leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field with 10+ years of progressive sales enablement, sales operations, or program management experience. At least 4+ years of experience in a leadership role
- Experience working in rapidly scaling organizations, preferably in the automotive or retail industries
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decision-making and measure program effectiveness
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills within fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills with ability to influence at all organizational levels
- Customer-centric mindset with deep understanding of sales processes and customer journey optimization
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales enablement technology platforms
Pay Disclosure
Salary Range for California Based Applicants: $159,000 - $190,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Full Time Employee coverage is effective on the first day of employment.
