Rivian is on a mission to keep the world adventurous forever. This goes for the emissions-free Electric Adventure Vehicles we build, and the curious, courageous souls we seek to attract.
As a company, we constantly challenge what’s possible, never simply accepting what has always been done. We reframe old problems, seek new solutions and operate comfortably in areas that are unknown. Our backgrounds are diverse, but our team shares a love of the outdoors and a desire to protect it for future generations.

- Partner closely with senior functional leaders and teams to provide clarity, streamline decision-making, and facilitate effective meetings; including preparation of pre-reads, business reviews, board packages, and executive presentations.
- Act as the primary liaison and integrator between the CFO, the finance org, executive team, board members, and external partners such as investors, analysts, and financial institutions.

- Independently lead ad hoc strategic and operational projects, delivering analysis, recommendations, and implementation support as needed to drive results.
- Steward the CFO’s communications (written and verbal), ensuring clarity, consistency, and discretion; draft high-impact correspondence, messaging, and response strategies for complex issues.
- Champion organizational effectiveness, process improvement, and continuity planning across Finance in partnership with People, IT, and other business units; leverage AI tools for enhanced productivity and insight when appropriate.
- Maintain strict confidentiality around sensitive company information, financial data, board materials, strategic plans, and personnel matters.
- Foster positive, trust-building relationships throughout the organization and with external stakeholders; serve as a cultural ambassador for the finance leadership team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, CFA, etc.) strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting senior executives and managing broad cross-functional projects in a high-growth tech, automotive, or manufacturing environment; prior chief of staff or executive advisory experience strongly preferred.

- Public Notary or similar certification preferred; experience supporting finance executives or board-level relationships is a significant plus.
