Role Summary

As a Treasury Analyst, you will contribute to the architectural development of Rivian’s global treasury operations and bank management frameworks to scale our EU expansion. Reporting directly to the Manager of Treasury Operations, you will leverage advanced AI-driven automation to ensure capital efficiency and provide deep functional expertise for our high-growth, multi-national operations. This full-time, on-site role is based at our Belgrade, Serbia office.


Responsibilities

The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Manage daily global liquidity and cash positioning, implementing advanced predictive forecasting models to optimize cash movements and resolve complex payment issues across international entities.

• Direct global bank administration and account structure strategy to support Rivian’s EU expansion, overseeing the full life cycle of bank accounts, KYC compliance, and FBAR reporting.

• Lead strategic partnerships with global banking institutions to evaluate, negotiate, and implement best-in-class products and services that drive operational excellence.

• Drive the adoption of AI and machine learning to automate routine treasury operations, liquidity management, and strengthen risk management frameworks through data-driven insights.

• Proactively optimize Treasury processes and controls, leveraging AI-literacy to improve reporting tools, data quality, and global policy adherence.

• Maintain meticulous attention to detail in the administration of global banking portals and the setup of high-value payment templates, ensuring zero-error execution and total compliance with internal controls and SOX standards.

• Establish and maintain robust internal control guidelines, ensuring global compliance with SOX and Treasury policies across all multi-national operations.


Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

• Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is a plus

• 3-5 years of experience in Global Treasury Operations

• Deep understanding of European banking regulations (SEPA, PSD2), and familiarity with Serbian financial laws and local accounting standards (LRS) to support regional expansion.

• Demonstrated ability to develop and deploy AI-driven automation scripts (using Python or SQL) to enhance predictive cash forecasting and automate routine treasury workflows.

• Expert-level proficiency in SAP and enterprise-grade Treasury Management Systems (TMS), combined with the technical ability to leverage Databricks for advanced data engineering and Google Workspace to drive automated, high-fidelity financial reporting and collaborative workflows.

• Exceptional ability to translate complex financial data into actionable strategic insights, supporting the Manager of Treasury Operations in high-stakes decision-making.

• Proven ability to o operate as a highly self-directed professional and develop effective business partner relationships across IT, Legal, and Tax teams to drive global special projects.
