Sokin are hiring a Treasury Operations Analyst to join our Treasury team in Toronto. This role will report to the Head of Treasury and work closely with another analyst to support day to day treasury operations across settlement, reconciliation, reporting, and cash management.
This will be a hands on role with a strong focus on reconciliation work. This will be an operational role, suited to someone detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with large data sets, treasury management systems, and Excel models built from scratch.

Key Responsibilities
Settlement and reconciliation
Own and support daily settlement and reconciliation processes across client, banking partner, and internal treasury activity.
Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks, settlement discrepancies, unmatched transactions, and timing differences.
Maintain accurate records of embedded finance client activity, ensuring all movements are traceable, documented, and reconciled.
Support operational processes required to generate embedded finance invoices.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure settlement data is complete, accurate, and available on time.
Reporting and cash management
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly treasury reporting covering balances, movements, client activity, liquidity, and operational performance.
Support cash management activities across banking partners and embedded client accounts.
Monitor account balances, transaction flows, and funding requirements.
Help maintain clear visibility over client and partner activity to support treasury decision-making.
Assist with process improvements to strengthen controls, accuracy, and reporting efficiency.
Treasury systems and data
Work with treasury management systems, including Atlar, to support payment tracking, reconciliation, reporting, and cash visibility.
Build, maintain, and improve Excel-based treasury models from scratch.
Use Excel to structure data, automate recurring analysis, reconcile activity, and support financial reporting.
Partner with Treasury, Finance, Operations, and Product teams to improve data quality and operational workflows.
What success looks like in 12 months
The successful candidate will bring structure, accuracy, and control to treasury operations. They will be able to manage reconciliations confidently, build reliable Excel models, use treasury systems effectively, and support the wider team with accurate reporting and cash visibility.
This role is well suited to someone who enjoys operational detail, understands the importance of clean reconciliations, and can help Treasury scale as the business supports more embedded clients and banking partners.
Qualifications
3–5 years’ experience in treasury operations, payments operations, banking operations, fintech, or a related finance role.
Strong experience in reconciliation, ideally across settlements, payments, bank accounts, client ledgers, or treasury flows.
Experience working with treasury management systems; experience with Atlar is highly desirable.
Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to build models from scratch.
Strong understanding of operational controls, transaction flows, and financial record keeping.
Comfortable working with multiple banking partners, high-volume transaction data, and time-sensitive processes.
Strong attention to detail and ability to investigate discrepancies through to resolution.
Experience supporting reporting, cash management, settlements, or invoicing processes.
Experience working within an EMI licensed business or payment focused fintech’s is preferred but not essential.
