Full-time | Remote in Europe (CET +/- 1 hour)
We’re looking for an experienced Product Designer to join our remote team
You'll be involved in everything from ideation and user research to creating UX and visual designs, building prototypes, and overseeing execution through to production.
Joining as an early team member, you'll play a key role in defining the future of Product Design at Thingtesting and actively contribute to developing our product strategy. Your contributions will be instrumental in shaping our future and driving our success.
We’re a small, 100% remote team of 9 people, with team members currently spread between Europe and the U.S.

We're a brand discovery and product testing community. Our goal is to help people shop better.
Over 1 million visitors come to Thingtesting.com every month to research before they buy, but also to discover new brands, try new things, and share honest reviews to help others shop better.

What you’ll do
As a Product Designer at Thingtesting, you'll be a crucial member of the product team. Being a young company with an early-stage product, you'll play a key role in driving the development of new features and product areas.
Design high-quality features and improvements that ship quickly
Contribute to the overall product and design direction at Thingtesting
Work cross-functionally with engineers and wider team to ship great software
Use and evolve our internal design system
Your experience and skills
You have 3+ years of experience designing usable, engaging, and beautiful user experiences
A portfolio showcasing high-quality work that demonstrates your ability to elegantly solve complex design problems
You’re curious about users and can advocate for their perspective
You are detail-oriented and self-motivated, with a passion for consistency, organization, and usability
You’re experienced at facilitating collaborative design sessions and conducting user research
You have excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
You’re fluent in Figma
Desirable
You’re excited to travel occasionally. We’re a fully remote team, but meet up once or twice every year
Experience collaboratively building design systems in Figma
Previous startup/early-stage product experience is a huge plus
You keep up to date with the latest trends, tools and philosophies in Product Design
Any front-end web development experience is a bonus

Our Interview Process
The process is usually 4 steps:
A short initial call with Andrew our Head of Design
A call with Andrew to demo and talk about some of your previous projects
A short design exercise and follow-up call to demo and discuss
A call with some of the wider team
All meetings are virtual

FAQs
What tools do you use? In the company, we run on Figma, Slack, Notion, Linear and Metabase - but as you might guess, we are open to testing new things
Do you sponsor visas? No, unfortunately, we can't sponsor visas right now
Can I join as a remote worker? We are a remote-first company and split between two main timezones: CET & EST. For this role, we’re looking for candidates who work in the +1/-1hrs of the CET timezone
